MapswitchPro does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. All your mapping preferences and history are stored locally on your device and are never shared with us or any third parties.
All URL redirection and tracking parameter removal (Privacy Shield) happens entirely within the Safari extension on your device. No website data or browsing history is ever sent to an external server.
To function, the extension requires permission to "Always Allow on Every Website." This is used solely to identify Google Maps and other map service URLs so they can be redirected according to your settings. No other website content is monitored or processed.
The "Recent Redirects" feature maintains a list of locations you have opened through the extension. This history is stored in your private iCloud/App Group container for synchronization between the app and extension. You can clear this history at any time from the extension popup or the main application.
When you choose to open a link in a third-party mapping service (like Waze or Google Maps), you are subject to that provider's privacy policy. MapswitchPro itself does not provide any data to these services other than the location query or coordinates you selected.
